What is Caddro Society?
Caddro Society is golf society management software that runs your whole club in one place — society days, live scoring, a season-long Order of Merit, members and RSVPs, comms and transparent accounts. It replaces the spreadsheets, group chats and cash envelopes most amateur golf societies still run on.
How much does Caddro Society cost?
£19 plus VAT for a single tournament (£29 plus VAT per event after the first 50 tournaments run across Caddro; a paid event stays fully open for 14 days, then read-only), or £99.99 a year, including VAT, for a full season.
What golf formats does Caddro Society support?
Individual Stableford, stroke play (medal) and Par/Bogey; team formats including fourball better-ball, foursomes, greensomes and scramble; and singles or team match play — each scored off the correct tees and handicap allowance.
Can Caddro run match play and knockouts?
Yes. Run singles or team match play, and build a knockout bracket of up to 32 players — Caddro seeds it, tracks each tie and advances winners automatically, including pulling the result straight from a played match-play match.
Does Caddro handle side games and sweeps?
Yes — skins (net or gross, with carries), twos, nearest-the-pin and longest drive, plus custom pots. Winners and payouts are worked out automatically and flow into settle-up.
Can it work out who owes who after a day?
Yes. Settle-up nets every entry fee, side game and prize down to the fewest transfers, so members see exactly who pays whom — with a plain-English AI recap you can post to the group.
Does Caddro handle live scoring and leaderboards?
Yes. Score Stableford and stroke play hole by hole on the day — it auto-saves and resumes offline, updates a live leaderboard for the whole field, and writes the result straight into your season standings.
Can members subscribe to the fixtures calendar?
Yes. Every society has a private iCal/webcal feed members can subscribe to, so fixtures appear in Apple, Google or Outlook calendars — alongside in-app RSVPs, reminders, field caps and waitlists.
Does Caddro write up the results?
Yes. Caddro can generate an AI match report — a headline and write-up of the day — that organisers can edit and post to the society forum, and it keeps player stats and head-to-head records across the season.
What is Handicap Watch?
A private, committee-only view that flags when a member's results are unusually strong for their handicap, so organisers can keep competition fair. It never names or shames — it's a prompt for a quiet handicap review, nothing more.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
The web app runs the full society today. Companion apps for iPhone and Android are on the way, letting members follow the leaderboard, self-score their card and RSVP to fixtures from their phone.
What languages is Caddro Society available in?
English and French today, with the whole app built to be translated. It's engineered for 75+ languages — from Spanish, German and Italian to Welsh, Irish and Japanese — which will roll out over time. You'll only ever be offered a language once it's properly translated.
What is an Order of Merit?
It's a season-long ranking that scores members across your fixtures — counting each player's best results — so there's always a clear club championship race. Caddro keeps it up to date automatically after every event, alongside eclectic, divisions and Most Improved competitions.
Can members see the society accounts?
Yes. Caddro keeps a monthly ledger, per-member statements and a transparency view, with Excel export — so the whole club can see the prize fund and charity pot, not just the treasurer.
