Terms of Service

Caddro is operated by Myatt Management Services Limited ("we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of the Caddro app and website. By creating an account or using Caddro, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Caddro.

1Your account

You must be at least 16 and provide accurate details. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. To buy a plan or an event credit you must be 18 or over and authorised to make the purchase on behalf of your golf society.

2Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Caddro subject to these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app.

3Paying for Caddro — Society plans, event credits, VAT and refunds

Caddro's Society features are sold to a golf society. To create and run a Society Day (a tournament), a society pays Caddro in one of two ways, billed via Stripe at the price shown at checkout:

• Pay per event (an "event credit"). A society buys a credit to create and run one Society Day (currently £19 per event during an introductory period, then £29), plus VAT. One credit lets the society run one Society Day through its full lifecycle, with a 14-day window after the event date to finish entering results and settling up. After that window, editing that event becomes read-only until the society buys another credit or holds an active season plan. Viewing and exporting a paid event's results always remains available.
• Season plan (a subscription). A society may instead subscribe to a season plan for £99.99/year including VAT, covering unlimited Society Days for 12 months from purchase. Season plans renew automatically each year at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Event-credit prices are shown at checkout, are exclusive of VAT, and VAT is added at the applicable rate. Prices may change on reasonable notice; a change never affects a credit or period you have already paid for.

Your cancellation & refund rights (consumers). If you buy as a consumer you have a right under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel an online purchase within 14 days. How that applies here:

• Unused event credit: you may cancel for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the credit has not been used to open a Society Day.
• Once a Society Day is opened: by opening a Society Day you ask us to begin supplying the service immediately and you acknowledge that, once it is opened, the service is treated as fully supplied and you lose the 14-day cancellation right for that credit. That credit is then non-refundable.
• Season plan: you may cancel for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not yet opened a Society Day under it; once you have, the service has begun and the 14-day right no longer applies. After 14 days a season plan is non-refundable for the current period, but you can cancel to prevent the next renewal.

Nothing here affects statutory rights you cannot waive as a consumer (for example, that a service is provided with reasonable care and skill). Refunds and billing questions: support@caddro.co.uk.

This section covers money a society pays to Caddro for the software. Money a member pays to their society is covered by section 4 and is not currently enabled.

4Society online payments (Stripe Connect) — not currently enabled

Some golf societies may in future use Caddro to collect event fees and member subscriptions online. This is not currently enabled. When it is, the society — not Caddro — is the merchant: a member pays their society, and Stripe processes the payment into the society's own connected Stripe account. Caddro only provides the software connecting the society to Stripe, does not hold, receive, control or access those funds, and is not a party to the payment. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes on member payments are handled by the society through its Stripe account.

5Your content

You keep ownership of the data and content you add (rounds, images, notes). You grant us a licence to host and process it to provide the service (including sending relevant content to our AI providers to generate insight — see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the right to upload anything you upload.

6Acceptable use

Don't use Caddro to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload harmful or unlawful content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, or scrape/abuse our third-party integrations in breach of their terms.

7Third-party services

Caddro integrates with third parties (e.g. WHOOP, Arccos, course-data providers, Stripe, and maps). Your use of those is subject to their terms, and we're not responsible for them. Integrations may change or stop.

8AI features — not professional advice

Caddro's AI caddie, coaching, and insights are automated, general guidance for entertainment and self-coaching only. They can be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not professional golf instruction, and not medical, health, fitness, or financial advice. Do not rely on them as such. Always use your own judgement.

9Wellness / health features — not medical advice

Any wellness, readiness, or WHOOP-derived information in Caddro is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat, or make health decisions. Consult a qualified professional for health matters.

10Data accuracy & availability

We work to keep Caddro accurate and available but provide it "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that automatically-extracted data will be correct — please check it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features.

11Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of data, profit, or goodwill; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period or £50.

12Termination

You can stop using Caddro and delete your account any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service. On termination your licence ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

13Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll post the updated version and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use means you accept the changes.

14Governing law

These Terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (subject to your non-waivable rights as a consumer).
